Restaurant Review: Harley Davidson Themed Brunch At Glasshouse, Hyatt RegencyPosted in : Restaurant Review on by : Disha Khurana
Sunday’s are meant for lazy afternoons & indulgent meals & probably a break from kitchen life. Top that off with some fun drinks, great company & lovely music & you are all set to have an awesome weekend. Hyatt Regency brings all of those components live to make sure their Sunday Brunches are more than happening. A lavish affair that makes sure you keep craving it until your next visit.
Sunday Brunches is no longer once in a blue moon thing; people take their Sunday brunches quite seriously & make plans quite ahead of time. Sunday brunches are meant to unwind & catch up with loved ones. I recently got a chance to try out the lavish spread Hyatt Regency puts up every Sunday for their brunches with killer music & drinks.
Every restaurant & big hotel in the city offers a great spread but in this whirlwind of brunches. But what is different about the one at Hyatt Regency is their interesting themed brunches that happens every first Sunday of the month at their Glasshouse Restaurant. Theme base meals have been done earlier but the execution done by the relentless team of Hyatt Regency is par apart. Right from the décor to the food to the tiny details like imprinting on the tempered chocolate to go on the cupcakes, Hyatt Regency really wins you over hands down.
I attended the last Sunday themed brunch before I was off for Europe & I was totally bowled over. The theme was based on Harley Davidson bikes & I honestly had this thing in my mind that what is so extra ordinary about a Harley Davidson theme. Little did I know that how wrong was I! Right from the biker décor to the music to the creating food that is served in Harley Cafes in US; utmost care & detailing was given. Not only that, Hyatt Regency had tied up with one of the oldest Harley Davidson stores in Mumbai & the proud owners of the bikes brought from that store could avail a good discount too.
Hyatt Regency had some really hot & killer Harley Davidson bikes on display along with a stall that sold some of the Harley Davidson merchandise too. I for one had a great time with the amazing biker vibe all over with the superb music, bikers & great service.
Getting down to food, they had their normal affair of a Sunday brunch too along with a few counters dedicated to the theme. Live counters of shwarma, poached eggs/eggs benedict, burgers, hot dogs, great variety of sausages, live chaat counter, baked potatoes with not one but four toppings to choose from, ceviche counter; basically you name it & it was there. Be it the amazing cheese platter, juice & flavoured milk counter, or the Asian counter & let’s not forget the overcrowded bar too; the options to choose from was far more than one can eat, drink or remember.
Over all it, I had a wonderful time with some foodie friends & I recommend all you brunchers to check out the Sunday brunch specially the themed one at Glasshouse, Hyatt Regency.
